What “Exclusive Promo Code” Really Means Here
At Casino Nanaimo you do not enter a random promo string on a website checkout. It is a physical casino in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and the whole promo system is wired differently. Everything runs through an Encore Rewards card, contact permissions, what you spend on-site, and a specific hotel deal. The official pages do not list any general public code you can type in.
That sounds like a limit, but it is more of a different route. The offers exist, the credits sit on real balances, and once you know which desk to go to, redeeming them is fairly direct.
Active Promotions Right Now
At the moment, three confirmed promos are in rotation. All of them sit behind Encore Rewards membership. For every offer the minimum age is 19 or older.
| Promotion | Value | Key Requirement | Where to Redeem |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stay in Touch | $20 Free Play | Join or confirm mailing list | Guest Services |
| Dine & Play | $15 Bonus Play | Min. $10 food/drink spend per person | Guest Services (voucher) |
| Stay & Play | $20 Free Play Voucher | Courtyard Marriott Nanaimo stay | Supplied by hotel |
Vouchers usually go to whoever shows up first. Stock is limited, which means timing matters more than visitors assume at first glance.
How To Get The Stay In Touch Credit
Out of everything on the list, this is the closest equivalent to a welcome bonus. You arrive at Casino Nanaimo, accept communications, and receive $20 in free play loaded onto your Encore Rewards profile. The idea is simple.
The rough flow looks like this:
- Go to Casino Nanaimo and walk over to Guest Services
- Carry valid government-issued ID that proves you are at least 19
- Sign up to Encore Rewards if you are not in the system yet
- Ask to be added to the casino mailing list: email, physical mail, or both
- Let the staff member double-check your contact details at the counter
- Wait while the free play is attached to your Encore Rewards account
- Use that credit on eligible slots or electronic table games, same visit or as current terms allow
The listed validity for Stay in Touch runs through December 31, 2026. One thing that trips people: free play is not the same as withdrawable cash. Before sitting down at a machine, speak with Guest Services about cash-out rules and which games qualify, since the allowed titles are not always obvious from the floor alone.
Dine & Play: The Restaurant Route
Inside the property, The Well Public House handles the dining side. You spend at least $10 per person on food or non-alcoholic beverages before tax, request the Dine & Play voucher when paying the bill, then carry that slip and your Encore card back to Guest Services. Staff then attach $15 in bonus play to your account.
It is one voucher per guest for each promotion period. The promo does not stack with other deals. Inventory is finite, so it pays off to ask the restaurant staff about availability toward the start of the meal, not as an afterthought when you are already signing the check.
There is also a broader point here, and it holds at other casinos too: if a visit is planned around a specific dining promo, make sure it is still active that day before ordering just to hit the threshold. Stock runs out, dates shift, and employees do not always mention changes unless you ask.
Encore Rewards: The Program Behind Every Offer
Without an Encore Rewards card in hand, none of the above promotions open up. That loyalty account is the real gate.
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Program name | Encore Rewards |
| Enrollment location | Guest Services, Casino Nanaimo |
| Minimum age | 19+ |
| Cost to join | No fee confirmed |
| Linked promotions | Stay in Touch, Dine & Play, Stay & Play |
| Currency earned | Bonus play credits, free play credits |
Encore Rewards is the same program that runs across Casinos BC locations in the province. Casino Nanaimo links into the Casinos BC Dine and Play setup, which gives $15 in slot or electronic table game bonus play and a separate $15 table bonus play at selected participating sites. Terms are close to what you see on-site: a single redemption per person, no combining with other promos, limited stock.
Already hold an Encore card from a different BC casino? Then you come in ahead, because you do not need to build that membership from the ground up again.
